How it works

From signup to playdate in four simple steps

NeurUnity is a community platform that helps parents and guardians of neurodivergent kids find each other nearby — for friendship, support, and real-life meetups.

Sign up as a parent or guardian

NeurUnity is for adults 18 and older who care for ADHD, autistic, or otherwise neurodivergent kids. You create one account for yourself — children never get accounts.

Tell us about your family

Share your ZIP code and how far you’d like to look, plus your kids’ nicknames (not real names), age ranges, neurotypes, and interests. Pick fun avatar emojis — no photos of kids required, ever.

Discover families near you

We suggest nearby parents and guardians with similar interests and experiences. Browse profiles, see upcoming local events, and reach out when someone feels like a good fit — at your pace, no pressure.

Connect, chat, and meet up

Send a connection request, chat one-on-one once you’re mutually connected, and join local events and playdates. Many families start with messages and meet in person when it feels right.

What NeurUnity is not

We want you to know exactly where we fit — and where we don't.

  • Not medical advice

NeurUnity is community support from fellow parents — not clinical guidance. Always talk to your child’s doctor, therapist, or school team for medical or therapeutic advice.

  • Not a social network for children

Kids never have accounts, profiles, or direct access. Every connection and conversation happens between verified parents and guardians.

  • Not a data broker

We never sell your data, never show your exact address, and minimize everything we store about children. See our privacy policy for details.
